Our apartment is in the village of Montalbert, part of the La Plagne ski resort. La Plagne is linked with Les Arcs making it one of the largest ski areas in the world called Paradiski. It is next to the valleys of Courchevel & Meribel. It is very suitable for families and small children. There are often English groups and families in the village.
Our family apartment has
a south facing balcony overlooking the slopes. It
sleeps 4 (x3 adults + 1 child). It has a separate (small)
double bedroom, bunk beds in hall area, sofa bed in the
lounge/kitchen, bathroom/shower and separate loo. There is a
two ringed electric cooker, oven/grill with timer, microwave,
steamer, an electric kettle and toaster.
There is French TV with a DVD player and a CD/Tape/radio/iPod player. Free Wifi
is available (Subscription TV channels are available
over your laptop via My ExPat Network)
The whole building has under floor heating and generally this is ample
but should you want to increase the heat there are convection heaters in each
room. (All heating is included). There is a warm lockable ski
room below the building and plenty of FREE
parking outside the
apartment and in the village.
